Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Profyle website (pro-fyle.co.uk) and professional headshot generation service operated by Reader Digital Ltd (Company No. 17078748), registered in England and Wales. By placing an order or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. These terms were last updated in April 2026.

Service Description

Profyle provides a professional headshot generation service. You upload selfie photographs, select a headshot style (Corporate, Creative, or Friendly), and we generate studio-quality professional headshots using advanced photography technology. Headshots are delivered digitally within 1-2 hours of order completion. The number of headshots and style options depend on your chosen package (Standard, Professional, or Premium).

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the selfies you upload are of yourself. You may not upload photographs of other people without their explicit written consent. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe these conditions are not met.

Orders and Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT. Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe, our secure payment processor. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed. Profyle is a one-time purchase service with no recurring subscriptions.

Delivery and Downloads

Your headshots are delivered digitally via a secure download link. First previews are typically available within 30 minutes, with the full gallery delivered within 1-2 hours. Delivery times are estimates and may vary during periods of high demand. Download links remain active for 30 days from delivery. You are responsible for downloading and saving your headshots within this period. We are not obligated to provide access after the 30-day window.

Likeness Guarantee and Refunds

All packages include our Likeness Guarantee. If your headshots do not resemble you, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@pro-fyle.co.uk with your order number and details. We will either regenerate your headshots at no additional cost or issue a full refund at our discretion. Due to the digital nature of our service, refunds are not available for reasons other than likeness issues once your headshots have been delivered. If you cancel before your headshots are generated, you are entitled to a full refund under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Once your headshots are delivered and payment is complete, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use your headshots for personal and professional purposes. This includes LinkedIn profiles, company websites, social media, CVs, business cards, and professional directories. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicence the headshots to third parties. All other intellectual property on the Profyle website, including text, design, logos, and branding, remains the property of Reader Digital Ltd.

Your Photographs and Data

By uploading selfies, you grant us a temporary licence to process your photographs solely for the purpose of generating your headshots. Your uploaded selfies are deleted from our servers once your headshots have been delivered. We do not use your photographs for marketing, training, or any other purpose without your explicit consent. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our service. You must not upload photographs that are obscene, offensive, or that depict anyone other than yourself without their consent. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with the proper working of our service. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reader Digital Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability for any claim related to our service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email where possible.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
